Which countries can I ship my goods to?
We handle shipments to and from major ports around the world.
However there are a few countries that have no bilateral
relationships with Malaysia, for example Israel, Cuba, North Korea
etc, and as such, shipments to and from such locations shall be
prohibited.
What can I ship?
Mainly all types of goods can be legally shipped but there are a
few categories of goods that shall be prohibited from being shipped
such as firearms, illegal drugs and narcotiocs, counterfeit goods etc.
In addition, certain classes of goods may require permits/licences.
These goods are known as restrictive items and require special handling
before shipping them out. For example, dangerous goods,
alcohol products, perishable items etc.
Is there any form of insurance when shipping with Union?
We collaborate with Insurance Company in offering Marine Insurance
and other form of transit insurance to cover loss or damages
to goods while they are being transported from the origin
to destination.
If I have my own agent in my country of destination, can we combine their services with Union's?
Yes, we pride ourselves on being flexible when dealing with our clients
and we are able to accomodate all range of shipping Incoterms such as,
Ex work, FOB, CIF, DAP, DDU, DDP etc.
What logistics services do you offer?
We offer a variety of logistics services including freight forwarding, custom clearance, inland transportation, and warehousing services.

What kind of trucks do you offer?
We offer transportation of containers by trailers, side-loader and tippers.
As for conventional trucks, we are able to provide transporation by
trailers, boxed vans, curtain siders, lorry crane, low-loaders etc.
I don't have a full-container worth of goods. Can I still ship my goods?
Yes, you may ship the goods via Less than Container Load (LCL) basis whereby your goods
will share the space with other importers/exporters.
Where are you based?
Can Union handle duty/tax shipments?
We are licenced by the Malaysian Customs to undertake declaration
of dutiable and taxable goods through all major ports and airports in Peninsular Malaysia.
Why do I need to provide the exact weight and dimensions of my consignment?
Exact weight and dimensions are necessary to ensure the accuracy of the costing and to
select the correct equipment in moving the goods.
